WID invites you to a virtual, hands-on, comma throw-down!

This workshop is designed for development professionals who want to hone their writing skills to engage their audiences, ensure their content is inclusive, and present themselves in a polished, professional manner.

Barbara Kancelbaum, grammar guru and Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Henry Street Settlement, will answer your most challenging questions.

Do you ever wonder…

  • Why does Word want me to change “which” to “that”?
  • What’s the difference between “i.e.” and “e.g.”?
  • How do I ensure my writing is gender inclusive?
  • Do I need a comma? Can I use a hyphen?

Submit your own grammar and writing questions at registration.
