Women of color have strong aspirations for leadership despite having to face exclusionary practices and behavior. Renowned research from Catalyst uncovered that people of color pay an emotional tax at work when they are on-guard to protect against bias or discrimination. This emotional tax affects the wellbeing of women of color and their ability to thrive at work.
In our upcoming virtual event, learn what emotional tax is, how it impacts Asian, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and multiracial employees through real-life experiences, and what you can do to create workplaces that are more inclusive and supportive of women of color.
