As news headlines have made abundantly clear, gift officers face particular ethical challenges as they identify and cultivate donor prospects. Leaders of all levels are required to make critical decisions about performing due diligence, declining a gift that does not align with an organization’s mission, and responding to interactions with prospects that are unpleasant or worse. Against the pressure of quarterly goals, ambitious campaign targets, and now a global pandemic, these decision points require an ongoing commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Women In Development is proud to convene a panel of leaders from across different fields who are working to prepare their colleagues to address these ethical challenges in a constantly changing environment. Join us as they share their experiences and insights on this relevant topic and offer actionable ideas that will benefit all fundraisers at all stages of their career.
