All The World's A Stage

Tuesday, May 7, 2019

6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Kaufman Music Center

New York, NY 10023

All the world's a stage,

And all the men and women merely players;

They have their exits and their entrances,

And one (WO)man in his (HER) time plays many parts.

-William Shakespeare

Join WiD for the first-ever presentation of the new performance practice workshop, All the World's A Stage, created by our President-Elect and veteran performing artist, Yolanda F. Johnson. Whether it is the boardroom, a gala or a major donor meeting, everywhere you go as a development professional is your fundraising "stage." Learn proven performance techniques and advice that will help you to project confidence when you are nervous; relax in high-pressure situations, and make the very best possible impression in your career. Yolanda F. Johnson, Founder and President of YFJ Consulting, LLC, has had a simultaneous career as both a successful fundraiser and acclaimed Lyric Soprano. Her extensive background as a successful performing artist and public speaker has given her a unique, creative perspective on the communications and presentation aspects of organizational and fundraising development.

This is a supportive, fun space to hone the "art" of your fundraising skills.

Yolanda will be joined by special guest, WiD's President (and fellow performing artist), Brooke Bryant, Director of Development at Kaufman Music Center.

Please note, this is a WiD members only event. For more information about membership or to join WiD, visit our membership page.
