On September 26th, join us for a conversation with Girls Who Code’s Vice-President of Development and WiD’s 2018 Women of Achievement honoree, Mary Ellen Miller, and Zina Thompkins, Development Associate, Individual Giving and Events.

Now in its sixth year, Girls Who Code--a young organization--has already made tremendous impact reaching almost 90,000 girls across the country with the aim to build the largest pipeline of future female engineers. With strong initiatives in place, a focus on advocacy and a commitment to serving girls from all racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds, Girls Who Code is experiencing tremendous momentum.

 

Attendees of this event will learn about the organization’s fundraising activities--primarily focused on corporate giving—board, alumni and corporate partnerships, and goal of launching a movement over the next five years in order to achieve gender parity in computer science by 2027.

 

The Insider Breakfast Series features an on-site presentation followed by a Q&A session and includes a light breakfast.
