Join us for a structured networking event focused on building authentic connections and community. Connect with fellow WID members, share experiences, and gain fresh perspectives to navigate today’s evolving nonprofit world.

You will have the opportunity to participate in two engaging roundtable discussions led by a facilitator, including:

Transitions & Turning Points: Making Career Moves with Intention

Career movement in the nonprofit sector—especially in development—is more fluid and, at times, more fraught than ever. This table offers attendees  a place for honest conversation about what’s next, what’s right, and how we evolve with purpose in a shifting sector.

Remembering Your Why

The nonprofit field is in flux. As organizations navigate instability, reduced resources, and high staff turnover, many fundraisers are asking: Why am I still doing this? This conversation explores how we reconnect with purpose and meaning during challenging seasons in our work.

Mind the Gap: Working Across Generations in Fundraising

In fundraising and development, generational perspectives can strongly influence work style, communication, values, and even approaches to donor relationships. Framing this as a candid and constructive conversation can lead to mutual understanding rather than stereotyping or venting.

Charting Your Own Course: Fundraising Consulting Insights

Curious about fundraising consulting? Whether you're considering the leap, already navigating the path, or running a thriving practice, this table invites conversation about the real-life opportunities, risks, and rewards of building your own development career outside of traditional org structures.

Personal Brand or Public Performance? A LinkedIn Dilemma

Many development professionals are navigating the tension between staying visible and staying authentic online. With LinkedIn feeds increasingly saturated, it can be hard to know where meaningful connection ends and performative posting begins. This table invites conversation about digital boundaries, personal values, and strategies for building an online presence that serves you, not just the algorithm.

Please select two roundtables that you would like to participate in. We will make every effort to accommodate your choices. Priority will be given to early registrants.

To ensure participants have an opportunity to learn and ask questions  SPACE WILL BE LIMITED.
